Vinny can do the researching for no cost if he likes but it still will take a week per item + an INT roll.
Of course you can always just try on, drink, smoke, whatever.
If I'm missing anything, let me know.
I am choosing to interpret this as: if we try a ring on, and do a lot of drinking and smoking (i.e. get drunk/high enough), it might identify the item. Tibag will proceed to do so, still hoping for that ring of protection +2 or more, in his quest to get his AC up to that of the magic-user. He also hopes that rings of protection and magical armor bonuses don't cancel each other out as they do in some versions of D&D.
ReplyDeleteAlso Tibag is very wary of the amulet of Anu as he once wore a similarly named item and it didn't turn out well. He hopes it refers to Christine Anu this time but isn't taking any chances.
That was a typo its the Amulet of Anus, the s got dropped off. Be very wary of wearing it. you dont put it "on" like a normal amulet.
